VCN- The General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) has requested municipal and provincial customs departments to coordinate with competent agencies in controlling exit and entry activities, and preventing and handling illegal entry.

The GDVC requires customs departments of An Giang, Binh Phuoc, Cao Bang, Can Tho, Dak Lak, Dien Bien, Dong Thap, Gia Lai- Kon Tum, Ha Giang, Ha Tinh Kien Giang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Long An, Nghe An, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Quang Ninh, Quang Tri, Tay Ninh, Thanh Hoa and Thua Thien Hue to strictly comply with the directions of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control in Official Dispatch No.3440/CV-BCD dated April 27, 2021 managing cases proposed to enter Vietnam to prevent Covid-19 pandemic.

At the same time, coordinate with competent agencies in the area in controlling the exit and entry activities, and preventing and handling illegal entry.

According to Official Dispatch No.3440/CV-BCD, the Ministry of Health requests ministries, ministerial-level agencies, People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to direct units to strictly implement the approval for all subjects applying for entry, and ensure subjects eligible for entry as per direction by the Prime Minister and the National Steering Committee.

Regularly inspect and supervise the performance; strictly deal with cases of sending people illegible for entry and illegal entry.
